Dedication to Tejaswee Rao
[info]zuanaprincley

It is indeed surprising that how much a girl who has lived so far away and never met you before can influence and inspire you. I had bumped into Tejaswee Rao's Blog quite accidentally. I had just decided to get back to blogging and subscribed to few blogs that looked interesting and one of them was the blog of someone named Indian Home Maker. I was so busy with life that I never really read any of the posts. But I was getting many mails every time she made a post and in one such mail I saw some beautiful pictures of a girl. Someone who looked confident, young and innocent at the same time. That was when I discovered Tejaswee!!

That night I came across Tejaswee's own blog and spent the entire night reading every single posts of hers. Then is when the shock awaited me. She was not alive anymore. I searched for more details in Indian Home Maker's blog and read every comment and every post made for Tejaswee by her mom and all her friends. I was moved and touched by how much someone can be loved and appreciated and most important of all, I realized that Tejaswee was not just an ordinary girl. If you read her blog you would understand how confident she was and how nothing stopped her from doing what she thought was right. That matched with something I myself believe in. Regardless of anything, one must never live against ones conscience.

One more similarity between me and Tejaswee is that, both of us rescue pups and kittens and get them adopted. How can I not love this girl and admire her after finding out she too understands the importance of being kind to animals? She has not only felt that need to contribute to animal welfare in her heart, but has stood by as a great example. I always like people who practice what they preach. The easiest thing to do in life is talking and the tough part is really doing what we talk. So in a way she has become a moral support and during times when I find it hard to help animals, I may think of her :-)

I liked how Tejaswee thought of her life, in her 'Letter to the Future Post'. Her short stories are nice as well. Most admirable in her life is her mom's love for her and the effort put by her to keep the memories of Tejaswee in the minds of the whole world. So I begin my blog with a dedication to Tejaswee, a friend whom I never met but will forever regret having never got the chance to meet.
